Day 5

photo giphy 2_zpsia6po4jh.gifToday I am dedicating the day to drinking 8 cups of water. I was feeling dehydrated the last few days and I noticed that I have been drinking other liquids such as juice and pop instead of water.

Did you know??
There are 39 Grams of sugar in just one can of coke?

This is something to think about the next time you reach for a can of pop instead of drinking a glass of water which has 0 Grams of sugar

  2. Great blog! I love that you gave a visual for the amount of sugar we consume when we drink soda! I always try to raise awareness to this, very important to instill healthy habits when students are young! Great job. (Also love the animated pictures!)

  3. Great fact Katie! People don't usually think about the amount of sugar they are consuming in a single can of soda. I make it a rule not to have soda in my own home!

  4. Well done Bridget!! I loved the layout and design of your blog. I really like how you have displayed interesting facts about soda and why it’s important and beneficial to incorporate more water into your student’s daily diet. By displaying this information it will not only inform persons viewing your blog but also encourage them to drink plenty of water instead of sugar based drinks thus contributing to a healthy and stable diet.

You never really think about all the sugars in other drinks but this helps put it all into perspective. I love the blog.

  6. Well, I cut out a lot of Coke intake a couple months ago and it's slowly killing me inside, but I'm probably healthier for it!
Your blog is super informative and motivational for anyone looking to improve their health.
